In a NY minute

Hmmmm..... I confess to being not quite sure what I think.

H/T: The Queen and while I am at it, this (warning! a bit of royal language in her post) made me laugh out loud in the library. She makes no apologies and takes no prisoners. Nothing like a mother who really loves her children...

I heard Savage screaming about this & thought Bush had married Karl Rove or something. Then I read your link. Like ... big deal. Key phrase: "if that's what states want."

I respect people who feel marriage should be between a man & a woman, but I think civil unions are the decent thing to do, so that gay couples aren't in some legal no man's land. It's hard for me to see why anyone would have considered moral opposition to civil unions. From the sound of it, the people upset just want gays to go away.

I'm sorry but I won't );p

You like that bit about the protective mother cause that is exactly how you are!!! Don't mess with your children; you and R even have a plan of how R will break every bone in anyone's body should they think about messin with ya'lls' cubs. I love it!!

Jeff- I am unsure what to think of Bush changing his mind, not necessarily objecting to allowing states to decide whether civil unions are constitutional or not. I can't tell if he is trying to appeal, has had a true change of mind, or he is just a very shrewd politician, having thought this all along and was just extremely judicious as to his announcement. What do you think?

Kris- hehe. Shhhhh!
