Do you know if he purchased his own and brought it to the battle, or just took his issued rifle and had a dura-coat put on it?

My opinion is that he either purchased it or had it given to him because I haven't seen any other Marine Infantry with that finish on their service rifle.
Posted by: R at December 12, 2004 05:18 PMI think you can use whatever you can find. I know a guy who traded an army troop a pair of leather gloves for a new machine gun. He couldn't take the gun home but figured he might as well use it while he was there.
