Proud to Be

A conversation over at Rightwingsparkle reminded me of listening to Talk of the Nation yesterday. The subject: The Average American. Yep. I'm one (13 out of 15 keeps my "average" within The Average American). Are you?

Posted by Rae at October 26, 2005 07:20 AM

Alas, I'm only 7 of the 13.

I feel so under-average.

11 of 15. Could be 12, but I can't remember eating at McDonald's in the past year, two, three...

I wonder if the average American has as much trouble remembering things as I do?

Now, I am wondering which ones you aren't, Jeremy? You know, it is just a list of a few things from an entire book (said with hopeful face)...maybe you are more average than you know ;) I don't think you're at all underaverage. In fact, I think you're perfectly average. You Geek, you :D

Ralph- how are you? Everyone O.K.? It's great to see you commenting again, erm, even if it's to say that you are a pretty average guy. Isn't mediocrity great :D

I got 7. I'm under averaged :)

I'll squeeze the test in later, but, Rae; I hardly consider you average. :)

I got 12 out of 15. Woohoo for mediocrity!! ;-)

Ith- you aren't underaverage. Remember, you fit in; it's the average of those who meet all the criterion and those who meet only part of it that makes the average :D

Stacy, aww, thanks, but really! I am :D

Audrey, yes. Mediocrity represents the backs from the sweat of life comes :D

Rae, All is well in Baton Rouge.

Maybe the above was a bit ambiguous.

I am doing well, but if I were to write any more than that, you might get the impresion that I am not.
